About Spectrum

Spectrum Asset Management Limited (Spectrum) was founded in 2001 by two of its current principals, Lindsay Skardoon and Christine Windeyer. It is a Sydney, Australia-based fund manager specialising in investing in corporate debt and income securities.

Damien Wood joined the team in 2014 as a Principal. He brings around 25 years of experience in global credit markets, primarily in research.

Hamid Yahyaei joined in 2014 and was brought in to strengthen the credit research process. Hamid is also a lecturer at Macquarie University and the Sydney Community College.

Our investments are managed by its principals, all highly experienced and well-credentialed in credit markets, having consistently generated returns in the top quartile of its peer group.

Negative returns are rare, with Spectrum making distributions from its funds in every quarter since its inception in 2002.

Corporate governance and controls are overseen by two of its directors, Mark Jamieson and Rick Steele, both highly experienced in funds management.

The responsible entity for the Spectrum Strategic Income Fund (previously known as EQT Spectrum Credit Opportunity Fund) is one of Australia’s leading trustee companies. Equity Trustees roles includes compliance and administrative services.

We are regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) which has issued Spectrum Asset Management an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL 225 069).”
