Lindsay is one of the Principals who founded Spectrum in 2001. Lindsay is Chief Investment Officer and carries portfolio management responsibilities at the firm. Over the years the Portfolio that is managed by Lindsay has been placed in the top 3 Funds based on returns, seven years over the past 10-years.

Lindsay has over 35 years of experience in interest rate markets, holding senior roles in both Australia and Asia with Westpac, Potter Warburg and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He has dealt with a wide range of interest rate securities structured products including hybrids, convertible bonds, asset backed securities, derivatives, swaps and has traded both primary and secondary issues, both listed and unlisted, in a range of currencies.

AS Head of Capital Markets at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Lindsay was responsible for both originations and syndications. His role in syndications meant that he was responsible for a significant number of high yield transactions in the Asia Pacific region, along with the placement of MTN’s in a variety of currencies and structures including credit linked notes. Lindsay also worked closely with the 144A Private Placement team and was responsible for the New York office being awarded its first lead mandate. He has also worked on the Electranet deal which at the time was the largest issue of inflation linked bonds by a corporate entity. The issue required a significant amount of hedging with Dresdner running the repo risk. Lindsay also worked as a proprietary trader, trading credit instruments and providing back up at times for the Syndications team.

His roles at Potter Warburg encompassed market making in Government Bonds and Semi Government bonds, Central bank sales, and business development of onboarding major Funds (domestic and international).
